The Requirement
The client’s had purchased this house from new a few years ago, but they were busy professionals travelling for business they had never got around to making it feel like home. Their previous furniture choices were quick buy’s just to have something to sit on.
Now they were spending more time in the property they wanted it to feel homely, welcoming and modern. They regularly had family and friends over so the space needed to work for when it was just them and when they were entertaining.
They didn’t want anything too fussy, and they were not sure on what colours they liked.
The Solution
Talking through their vision for the space we came up with this design. It’s modern with a homely feel and its certainly not fussy. Neutral tones create a relaxing feel and the wood warms it up. The foot stools are multifunctional, giving them a coffee table and extra seating when needed. Clean lines make this a space easy to keep tidy.
The perfect place to relax or entertain at the end of a busy day.
